The photo links to the recipe (in Italian). Let me know if you want me to translate it. Of course, there is also Google Translate …I forgot the age we live in!
The fact that you can translate it from Italian is awesome! I have a dream to learn to speak Italy and go disappear for awhile in the land of pasta, gelato, and Chianti…
My native language is very similar to Italian, so I had a bit of an advantage. Then, I used to watch this Italian show on TV every day as a teenager and I guess I caught it.later on, while in grad school I used to live in Little Italy, in the house of an Italian woman who didn’t speak much English, but loved to cook for her student boarders…. so, again, good opportunity, not to be missed. My husband is American Italian and … no, he does not speak the language… I was actually giving him lessons (together with serious homework) while we were dating.
Oh, and I strongly believe I was Italian in a past life. I have been there three times and although there are many, many places in this world that I have not seen yet, my heart pulls me always in that direction. End of long story!
How lucky! I learnt Italian by watching Canale 5 and Italia Uno while I was in high-school and I was determined to move there once I graduated… Didn’t work out as planned.
Yes, I have been there three times. I am European and although there still are a number of countries that I have not visited yet not even once, my heart always asks for Italy.
I used to be all about milk chocolate, but after a health scare last year, I decided to cut my sugar intake and consequently, switched to dark chocolate. I must admit, it took a while to get used to the bitter-sweet taste, but once sugar was out of my system, I couldn’t have it any other way. It is both healthier and full of anti-oxidants (70% cocoa and up).
I am sorry, Greg! Recipes (in Italian, unfortunately) linked…. in case you want to make the first one. you will be glad to know that I am on my 4th day of eating your salad for lunch… I LOVE IT!
I’m so glad! I made a batch myself ( it’s still 90 ish here) and I am on day 3 myself. Just enough for lunch tomorrow. Then maybe back to the Quinoa salad for mxt week. Enjoy your weekend.
It is the perfect thing for hot summer days and because of the multiple textures, it does not get boring when eaten for a few days in a row. So, a big thank you!
Thank you! Have a wonderful weekend to you as well.
Can’t get enough of your food photos–gorgeous. Am nominating you for the Versatile Blogger Award. Not sure if you’d already been awarded, but when I thought “versatile,” I thought your site! The majority of the images on this blog are not mine and I do not claim any credit for them. They are beautiful photos that captured my attention and that I share with the sole purpose of spreading the inspiration.
Each photo that I did not take links back to the place of origin. My images are the only ones that are static and I would greatly appreciate it if you could link back if you decide to use one of them.
Thank you for visiting this blog and I hope you are having a wonderful day!
That third one will be in my dreams tonight!

I remember Italia Uno had all the kids shows in the afternoon

I miss the food! All that fresh produce… hmmmm
My family still lives there, so I manage to go back regularly for visits and big feasts
Number one for me, please.
There is simply nothing as decadent, delicious and down-right dreamy as anything made with chocolate. Need one say more. Virginia
I love chocolate, especially dark chocolate. Once I discovered dark chocolate, that was it.
